Summer Crab Salad

  • Ingredients

  • Salad:
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 lettuce heart
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 360 g (3/4 lb.) of Chef LELARGE Crab Meat and Leg, well drained
  • 1 small onion, coarsely chopped

     
  • Sauce:
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of mayonnaise
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 drops of hot sauce (Tabasco)
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of chives, sliced
  •  Salt to taste

Directions

Salad:
1. Peel the avocado and dice, then toss in half the lime juice.
2. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
3. Quarter the tomatoes.
4. In a bowl, combine the avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and crabmeat.

Sauce:
1. Add the remaining lime juice to the mayonnaise along with the hot sauce and chives, then mix into the crab salad. Season to taste and serve.

 

Tips and advices

Try adding Nordic shrimp for a touch of the sea!
